Europe Is Terror Capital Of The World

U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff has publicly stated that Europe now provides a solid platform for global Islamic terrorism. Although he refused to confirm it, it is believed that Mr Chertoff actually considers Britain to be the largest single threat within Europe due to the high proportion of known Muslim terror suspects allowed to operate unhindered within its borders. "Britain is playing a dangerous game. The human rights of terrorists should never be given higher priority than the human rights of innocent citizens" an aide was heard to say.

Britain's eagerness to accept 4 non-British terrorists from Guantanamo Bay is just one worrying example of the U.K.'s misguided attempt to appease fanatical Muslims. Prime Minister Brown mistakenly feels that a submission to Islam is the only way to avoid further terror attacks from followers of the evil teachings of the Dark Side.

Mr Chertoff's statement came on the same day as it was reported that Younis Tsouli, a U.K. based Moroccan terrorist, was now serving a 16 year prison sentence in Belmarsh prison for organising terror campaigns from his London bedroom (American readers should be aware that under British law a 16 year sentence actually means he will only serve a maximum of 8 years and may well be out after about 5 years under the government's new 'early release' scheme).

Lessons from history appear not to have been learnt. Appeasement never works.
